AÉ02 is an award-winning architecture and design studio based in Bucharest and Nice, founded in 2023 by architects Elena Viziteu and Anda Zota. Rooted in an ongoing investigation of space, light, and material substance, AÉ02 moves fluidly across scales and typologies: from exhibitions to interiors, from architectural projects, adaptive reuse interventions to crafted objects.

The studio sees each project as an open-ended dialogue between disciplines, people, contexts, and atmospheres. Collaboration is a mindset: AÉ02 works closely with artists, artisans, and clients to develop spaces that are tactile, precise, and experimental.

Their work often navigates the edge between the utilitarian and the poetic, whether crafting retail environments with a heightened sense of presence, designing domestic spaces with sculptural restraint, or reactivating existing structures through subtle material gestures. AÉ02 is less interested in stylistic signatures and more in compositional clarity, material resonance and the ability of architecture to frame experiences with care and intent.
