The interior design of the DUALITAE store translates the brand’s core philosophy into space: duality. The project explores a language of clear, legible contrasts, where rigid structures meet fluid drapery, sharp geometries intersect with organic forms, and bold black elements stand out against a serene, luminous backdrop.
A restrained monochromatic palette defines the space, built through light textures, reflective surfaces, and glossy black accents. Together, these elements create a calm yet dramatic setting in which the clothing becomes the focal point. The central textured volume serves as both a functional device and a spatial statement, structuring the interior while preserving an open, continuous flow.
Garments are displayed against full-height mirrored walls, allowing the pieces to appear almost suspended within the space. This visual lightness reinforces the identity of the brand, emphasizing strong silhouettes and expressive detailing.
A seating area with geometric chairs and a sleek black table introduces a more intimate scale, offering a setting for personal interaction and consultation. Above, an artistic chandelier with organic lines, developed in collaboration with Romanian artist Marta Mattioli, adds a sculptural layer to the project while maintaining the overall clarity of the interior.
The space reflects founder Alina Lazariu’s vision by balancing masculine architectural gestures with softer, more feminine details. Intimate yet expansive, refined yet accessible, the store becomes a physical expression of a brand dedicated to celebrating the multifaceted nature of contemporary women.
